Brenalwood Care Home
Fax: 01255 850 356
Brenalwood is located in the coastal town of Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex and is situated just 5 minutes from the sea. It is home to 38 of our residents who enjoy the serene location and fresh sea air. This Care Home has a very pleasant, homey atmosphere and the staff all do whatever they can to create a relaxing yet fun environment for the residents there.
You can find a full list of all Brenalwood’s facilities to the left, but some of the particular favourites amongst the residents include the replica pub (complete with dart board and snooker table), the village green area, and the 50’s/60’s themed lounge area. Brenalwood also runs a regular Dementia Cafe which is open to the relatives of those with dementia and offers support, advice, and sometimes a roast dinner!
When Brenalwood isn’t organising in-house activities, the residents get to enjoy days out, such as visits to the local nature reserve. The staff are always looking for new, fun ways of improving the resident’s quality of life and their commitment to this has been rewarded with an award for exceptional customer service achieved earlier in 2012.
Food & Nutrition

Manager Wendy says:
“Living by the sea is lovely, and the residents all get to enjoy the fresh sea air. There is a pleasant and relaxed feel about life at Brenalwood. It is important to me that I make a positive impact on the lives of those under my care, and I believe that I do this at Brenalwood. If you are ever in the area and fancy a coffee then pop in at a time that suits you and we can have a chat.”
